As the Creative Content Strategist, Jay has worked with performers, management, and production teams across Cirque du Soleil shows to engineer out-of-the-box training, teambuilding, and incentive experiences. Jay has worked with top-performing groups including Google, Financial Force, SABMiller Latin America and Kmart Australia.  Jay also designed the content for Club Med’s Creactive offering in Punta Cana.  He is tasked to marry best practices with innovative, non-conventional approaches to yield the most impactful outcomes for attendees.

Learning is a two-way process.  To foster true engagement and growth, to create dynamic and memorable experiences, group members must become participants, collaborators, and ideators.  Jay's approach ensures this.

In his keynote addresses, Jay goes beyond witty one-liners and anecdotes from his professional experience.  He builds moments that invite audiences to think, collaborate, and re-imagine.   Jay has keynoted for companies such as Proctor and Gamble, Better Homes and Gardens, and Graham-Wyndam.

In his training sessions, Jay immediately engages participants.  From the moment sessions open, team members are collaborating, working, and doing.

Jay knows that experience-based learning techniques keep participants engaged and invested. Most importantly, this approach allows participants to discover the key knowledge that resonant with them.  This self-discover results in take-aways in which the learner is truly invested -- take-aways they can immediately apply to their personal and professional live

Prior to running away with Cirque du Soleil, Jay worked in education and consulting.  As an educator, Jay served as a Dean of Faculty, designing training modules for teachers and administrators.  As a consultant, Jay continues to help organizations innovate their professional development modules to be more engaging and impactful to employees.  Jay helps Cirque du Soleil maintain its internal spark by facilitating professional development modules for domestic and international sales managers, customer-facing sales associates, and SPARK trainers and facilitators.

Jay holds a BA from Emory University (Atlanta) in Sociology and an MA from Columbia University (NYC) in Learning and Intelligence.  In addition to adding sparkle to corporate learning and events, Jay is a gym-a-holic and an ice cream fanatic.
