As CEO of Boston and Philadelphia-based Allen & Gerritsen, Andrew leads the independent, integrated agency of forward thinkers, storymakers, craftspeople and analytical minds. The agency’s conviction is that people power brands, by uncovering and igniting the personal space. A&G was ranked twice by Advertising Age as the nation’s #1 “Best Place to Work in Marketing & Media.” Its work has been honored recently by the One Show, Jay Chiat, the Mashies, the Shorty Awards, Forrester Groundswell and Adweek Project Isaac Gold Awards.

In 2017, Andrew was named one of the “21 Most Influential People in Boston Business” by Boston Magazine and was also honored as one of the “Top 100 Advertising Leaders in the United States” by Adweek. Andrew has also been recognized as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.

Andrew is a member of the 4A’s Board of Directors. He chairs the organization’s Leadership and Development Committee, and serves on its Government Relations Committee. For the last three years, Andrew has been the program moderator for the 4A’s Management Practitioner Forum. He also serves as an Effie Awards judge.

Giving back is incredibly important to Andrew. He focuses his philanthropic efforts on giving a voice to those who feel as though they are not being heard; for instance, he has championed Mobile Stü, a mobile recording studio that allows young people in inner-city communities to express themselves through music. A&G’s campaign to promote Mobile Stü, #BlackwithBlue, was featured by Fast Company, the Ellen DeGeneres Show and the NBC Nightly News, amongst other national media outlets. And, he’s a fierce advocate for children through his board memberships at organizations including Big Sisters of Greater Boston, the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester and the New England Sports Museum.
